Seattle Public Schools students shouldn’t be caught in the crossfire of political fights over school funding. Yet, some of the opponents of Proposition 2, the Building Excellence (BEX) VI Capital Levy on the Feb. 11 ballot, are willing to gamble with student safety, learning environments and basic school infrastructure just to make a point.
